 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed here during the water issue. It was caused by a burst water pipe, and the interruption only lasted around 20 minutes. The staff worked hard to fix it quickly, even late in the evening. Apart from that, this place is wonderful: very clean, peaceful, surrounded by the rainforest, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is excellent—within walking distance to restaurants, ocean, boardwalks and attractions. Staff were very helpful, especially when we found out last minute that our rental car didn’t allow us to use the Daintree Ferry. The night walk was incredible. Do not miss out! It leaves right from the lodge.
The restaurant was not open our first night and it would have been helpful to have known that ahead of time. Also the emails advertise a 7am guided rainforest walk but the link only allows 9am. I was told the 7am was private so not sure why they advertise a 7am time if it’s not available. We would have done that too. But 9am was too late for our plans.
